Riverside Renewal — Terms & Information

Riverside Renewal is a custom overdye and specialty wash service for customer-owned garments and textiles. By purchasing this service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Results Will Vary
Dye results are inherently unpredictable and may vary depending on fabric content, garment construction, age, wear, previous treatments, stains, fading, coatings, thread composition, and manufacturer inconsistencies.

Natural Fiber Content
Best results are typically achieved on 100% natural fibers such as cotton, silk, linen, wool, and cashmere. Blended fabrics may dye unevenly or appear lighter due to synthetic fiber content.

Thread & Stitching
Thread is often polyester and may not absorb dye in the same way as the surrounding fabric. Contrast stitching and tonal variation may occur.

Variation Is Part of the Process
Tonal shifts, marbling, texture variation, uneven absorption, subtle spotting, wash variation, and irregularities are considered part of the aesthetic and process of custom dye work.

No Guaranteed Color Matching
Exact color matching is not possible. Product photos are intended as general references only.

Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for reviewing garment condition, fabric content, sizing, and care labels prior to sending items. While Riverside Tool & Dye handles all garments with care, dyeing previously worn or manufactured items carries inherent unpredictability. Riverside Tool & Dye is not responsible for damage, shrinkage, seam stress, color variation, fabric weakness, or unexpected outcomes resulting from pre-existing wear, age, staining, sun exposure, prior chemical treatment, coatings, or manufacturer construction.

Approval & Refusal
Riverside Tool & Dye reserves the right to refuse items deemed unsuitable for dyeing after review.

Turnaround Time
Most orders are completed within approximately 3–5 weeks after receipt of the garment, though timelines may vary depending on workload and process complexity.

Final Sale
Because this is a custom made-to-order service performed on customer-owned items, all Riverside Renewal services are final sale.

Shipping
Customers are responsible for carefully packaging items prior to shipment. Riverside Tool & Dye is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit before arrival.
